Quality Engineer Role
The Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in defining and documenting quality standards for new product initiatives while refining existing protocols. This position serves as the primary liaison for clients concerning quality documentation. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and experience in documenting quality specifications.

Essential Skills:
  • Expertise in quality methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, among others.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Outlook, with a solid understanding of GD&T.
  • Familiarity with Minitab and statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects concurrently and effectively articulating project strategies.
  • Capable of testing and implementing new systems, along with training on inspection protocols.
  • Provides technical assistance to enhance process efficiency from the onset of product development.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and work cell design is advantageous.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Quality Engineering).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt and/or CQE certification is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly within the metal sector.
  • Significant experience in client interactions and presentations.
  • Proven ability in generating quality documentation.
  • Strong collaborative skills for working in a continuous improvement team and the ability to operate independently when necessary.
