Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech and language abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques and technologies to promote patient progress.
  • Collaborate with patients' healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support to promote understanding and engagement in the treatment process.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience, with a focus on home health or pediatric populations.
  • Current licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the State of Maryland or Virginia, or Certificate of Competency by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) if working in the District of Columbia.
  • CPR certification and valid State Driver's License in good standing.
