Location: Menasha, WI
Position Purpose: The primary responsibility is to oversee ongoing financial analysis within the plant, utilizing data, facts, and financial analysis tools to ensure optimal plant profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and review the accuracy of cost accounting models.
- Assess inventory valuation.
- Supervise cycle count activities to ensure adherence to Corporate Inventory policies and procedures.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing plant financial statements, variance reports, and analysis. Execute financial assessments using plant data, with a comprehensive understanding of how this data impacts overall plant performance.
- Coordinate and finalize annual audits.
- Review and uphold internal controls and related documentation.
- Support the annual budgeting process and year-end audit as necessary.
- Generate product costing, monthly profitability, waste reports, and ad hoc cost analyses as required.
- Take on additional related responsibilities as needed.
- Perform related tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA-CMA or CA designation preferred, or currently pursuing certification.
- Experience in Cost Analysis and Inventory financial controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Shop Floor and Management Execution Systems (MES).
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all organizational levels professionally.
- Capability to adapt to evolving needs and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities daily.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and consider the broader context.
