As a Porter/Custodial at Big Y, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and attractive store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and janitorial duties throughout the store
- Clean and sanitize the meat cutting area, kitchen, and bakery area
- Maintain proper department conditions and supplies
- Operate equipment and machinery as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
