Faculty Position in Dental Anesthesiology

The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine is seeking a part-time faculty member in the Department of Dental Anesthesiology at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. This appointment is in the appointment stream.

The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as a part-time dental anesthesiologist with years of academic and clinical experience. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction of dental students and residents. Applicants must have a DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited school, and specialty training in anesthesiology. The applicant must be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license. Preference will be given to those with additional training, experience, and Board Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology.

The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine is located on the University's main campus in Pittsburgh, contiguous with the other five health science schools. UPMC is an internationally renowned academic medical center and healthcare enterprise with a robust infrastructure to support clinicians with innovative clinical programs and biomedical and health sciences research.
