Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Specialist

This role is responsible for installing HVAC systems, including laying out roof penetrations, ducting, and sheet metal fittings according to customer specifications, applicable building codes, and proper piping practices. The successful candidate will provide support on HVAC construction jobs by reading and interpreting blueprints as needed by foremen to ensure timely and quality project completion.

The ideal candidate will be able to lay out sheet metal fittings as directed by the foreman, provide assistance to construction foremen as needed, and perform other related duties and projects assigned by management. Additionally, they will possess knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to wire installations, as well as knowledge of refrigeration systems and piping of refrigeration equipment.

• A high school diploma and trade or technical school classes
• 4+ years of experience in the construction industry, with hands-on field experience in commercial HVAC construction
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC construction products and tools
• Ability to grease duct weld and complete minor electrical installation
• Ability to complete sheet metal layouts and fabrications, with good mechanical skills
