CNC Machinist Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for an immediate start in Pinellas Park, FL.

This is a temp to perm opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of up to $32/hour, based on experience.

The successful candidate will work a 40+ hour week, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathes, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for creating and optimizing programs for CNC Lathes, setting up and operating CNC Lathes, and performing quality inspection of parts manufactured.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for optimizing programming strategies to improve quality and increase productivity, assembling parts manufactured, and maintaining clear records and documentation of programs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have a strong work ethic.

The CNC Machinist will work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, collaborating effectively with a diverse workforce.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Outlook.

The requirements for this role include the ability to stand for extended periods, read tape measures, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) unassisted if needed.

The ideal candidate will be able to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions in small openings, and climbing hand over hand.

The work environment will require exposure to fumes, odors, and noise.

The successful candidate will be eligible to work in the United States, have reliable transportation to the job site, and pass a pre-employment background check.
