Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, collaborating with other disciplines to ensure seamless care.
  • Monitor and record patient condition, communicating updates to the healthcare team as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
