The primary objective of this role is to manage the daily functions of the Pharmacy division within a retail establishment. This includes assisting patrons with their healthcare requirements by accurately dispensing medications and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the precision and suitability of all prescriptions by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance, in compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

  • Administer immunizations and vaccinations, and implement other recommended clinical initiatives such as Medication Therapy Management (MTM), community outreach, and various programs aimed at enhancing business profitability and prescription volume.

Qualifications

Compensation:
$ /hour

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree (BS), Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.), or equivalent in Pharmacy, along with Immunization Certification from an accredited organization (e.g., APhA) and at least one (1) year of experience as a licensed Pharmacist; or a comparable combination of education and experience. Experience in a retail setting is also preferred.

This position necessitates the following Licenses and Certifications: A valid Pharmacist License in the state of practice, a valid Immunization Certification, and a valid Immunization License in the state of practice, if mandated by state regulations.
