Job Description:

We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. As a mechanical engineer at Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc., you will be working on developing mechanical and controls systems. You will create fabrication and assembly drawings according to ASME Y14 standards, tolerancing and design for manufacturability, interpreting electrical schematics for troubleshooting and design purposes, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Create bills of materials for new designs and track materials during fabrication
  • Interface with customers in technical working groups
  • Supervise lower-level engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

  • Prior professional experience with high purity compressed air, cryogenic cooling, high vacuum, nuclear detectors, and industrial controls
  • US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% domestically/internationally

Benefits:

This position offers full benefits including medical, dental, 401k matching, and paid leave. The work schedule is 9-hours Monday through Thursday with a 4-hour Friday. The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000.
