Head of AI Strategy

Position Overview

The Head of AI Strategy is an integral part of the leadership team at Reed Technology and Information Services LLC. This role is focused on shaping the strategic direction of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives within the organization, ensuring that these strategies are in harmony with the overall business objectives. The Head of AI Strategy will be pivotal in ensuring that AI technologies are utilized effectively and ethically to meet our value creation targets.

Employment Conditions

• A successful background investigation and Public Trust security clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading AI initiatives and teams.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI services and platforms.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks governing AI (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capacity to influence and drive organizational change.
• Strategic mindset and vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and articulate a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with the organization's vision and objectives.
• Identify areas where AI can enhance operational processes, boost efficiency, and foster innovation.
• Lead as a hands-on expert, designing scalable solutions and promoting data excellence throughout the organization.
• Establish best practices for AI/ML processes and lifecycle management.
• Supervise model training and optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with other executives, including the Chief Technology Officer, Managing Director, and external stakeholders to integrate AI into the broader technology strategy.
• Work alongside the technology delivery team to implement AI projects.
• Provide leadership to develop the AI function in partnership with the technology delivery team.
• Ensure that AI solutions comply with ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Advocate for transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI decision-making processes.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend AI tools, platforms, and frameworks for organizational adoption.
• Collaborate with data teams to ensure high-quality data availability for AI model training.
• Establish data governance practices to uphold data privacy and security.
• Assess risks associated with AI deployment, including bias, security, and compliance issues.
• Implement robust testing and monitoring processes to mitigate risks.
• Communicate AI initiatives, progress, and outcomes to key stakeholders.
