Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Caregiver to join our team. As a Home Health Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing routine healthcare assistance to patients in their homes or in care facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with ambulation and mobility, including accompanying them to doctor's appointments and walks
- Providing personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Helping clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
- Assisting with light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Reporting information about client conditions and treatment plans to healthcare professionals
- Responding promptly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to adhere to health and safety standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
