Mental Health Advocate for Adolescents

The Upper School Counselor will provide counseling support to students in grades 9-12 through self, teacher, or parent referral. They will also provide crisis intervention and assessment for referral to outside professionals. Additionally, they will serve as a resource to all faculty, staff, parents, and students for consultation and professional referrals as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing mental health education and awareness to students, faculty, and administration
- Collaborating with professionals in the community to act as a liaison for students involved in treatment
- Serving on the Upper School Student Support Team and Administrative Team
- Attending all Upper School faculty meetings and Counseling Department meetings
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
