The Licensed Cannabis Pharmacist will undertake a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to, the distribution of medications and providing patient consultations. This role acts as a medical authority, brand representative, patient supporter, staff guide, and supervisor. The Pharmacist will assume the role of Manager on Duty when required in the absence of the General Manager or other leadership personnel.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify outstanding service, commitment, pace, and energy.
- Deliver patient consultations as necessary.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with state regulations and store operations.
- Safeguard all confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities as needed, including store opening and closing tasks and staff oversight.
- Promote a workplace culture that aligns with Holistic Industries' vision of being the premier destination for work, shopping, and investment in the cannabis sector.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned or requested by management.
- Complete a mandatory 4-hour Pharmacist certification as required by the PA Department of Health, in addition to the PA Train dispensary employee certification.
- Required by the Department of Health to verify Patient certifications through the Patient Portal during all dispensing activities while on duty.
- Occasionally assist with cash handling processes, including preparing deposits, closing cash drawers, managing transport manifests, and maintaining daily activity logs.
General Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age and capable of obtaining and maintaining marijuana work credentials as mandated by regulations.
- Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in the state of PA.
- Must acquire and maintain all state-mandated Pharmacist training and certification.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- Must be able to obtain and sustain medical marijuana work credentials following a comprehensive fingerprint background check.
- Strong focus on compliance.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in computer skills and experience with point of sale systems.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proven capability to work independently as well as collaboratively, fostering productive working relationships.
