Job Summary:

Warehouse Direct is seeking an Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in determining, designing, and coordinating their space planning needs to achieve a professional, functional, and appealing look.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients in determining their space planning needs
Design and coordinate space planning solutions
Ensure compliance with ADA regulations and best ergonomic practices
Coordinate installations, conduct walk-throughs, and solve issues that arise
Provide design services to dealership customers
Perform site/inventory verifications
Conduct space planning
Establish typical development
Work with color boards
Create working/installation drawings, specifications, and site-to-plan review

Requirements:

High School Diploma or 2 years of business, design experience
Completion of four year college degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Previous experience in interior design and/or furniture sales or other related fields
Familiarity with 2020 software, Revit, CET Designer, AutoCAD, Team Design or other design software
Understanding of workplace environment issues (ergonomics, technology integration, teaming, etc.)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, verbal, and computer communication skills
Working knowledge of applicable building codes, ADA regulations
Familiarity with the dealership's contract furniture lines (Allsteel, HON, OFS)
