Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and restock all hot bar and salad bar items.
  • Supervise food preparation, portion sizes, and overall food presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food storage, supply management, and labeling standards.
  • Set up, dismantle, and clean all food service equipment, dishes, and utensils in both the cafeteria and food preparation areas.
  • Adhere to health and food safety regulations.
  • Process transactions for employees.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, fostering a workplace culture of teamwork, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people.
  • Able to multitask and perform well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • A collaborative team player who can work independently as well.
  • A strong work ethic emphasizing commitment, quality, and dependability.

Physical Requirements:

This position necessitates regular physical activity, including walking and navigating elevation changes, as well as the ability to use hands for handling tools and materials. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. The role also involves frequent activities such as sitting, talking, hearing, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, with the potential to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
