We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen - North America. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment
- Inspect electrical malfunctions, using testing instruments, manuals, guides, and blueprints
- Repair and/or perform preventative maintenance of equipment and electrical circuits
- Help with maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment
- Test malfunctioning machinery, using test equipment, and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers
- Proficient in troubleshooting CNC machines and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, machines, etc.
- Ability to advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
- Ability to maintain and/or pursue current electrician's certification identification card to meet governmental regulations
