Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication and installation.
  • Fabricate Sheet Metal Components: Use shears, brakes, and presses to fabricate sheet metal components according to measurements.
  • Layout and Cut Metal Sheets: Layout and cut metal sheets accurately to ensure proper fit and finish.
  • Assemble and Install Sheet Metal Components: Assemble and install sheet metal components using rivets, bolts, screws, and welding equipment.
  • Install Ductwork Systems: Install ductwork systems for air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and other applications.
  • Inspect Completed Work: Inspect completed work for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Work at Heights: Climb ladders and walk on top of roofs, requiring a willingness to work at heights.
  • Welding Experience: Preferably have welding experience, but not required.
  • Hand and Power Tools: Must be able to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Construction Experience: Must have construction experience.
  • Osha Certification: Osha 30 or Osha 10 certification is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Experience Level: 2 years

Shift: 8 hour shift

Weekly Day Range: Monday to Friday

Work Setting: In the field or indoors

Work Location: Piscataway, NJ
