- Develop Pain Management Strategies: Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques to reduce pain and improve patient outcomes.
- Enhance Patient Independence: Assist patients in regaining independence after surgery, injury, or illness to enhance their quality of life.
- Document Patient Progress: Continuously assess and document patient progress toward rehabilitation goals, adapting treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and ensure seamless communication.
- Provide Ongoing Support: Offer personalized home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery and maintain accurate patient records.
- Adhere to Ethical and Legal Standards: Respect patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in patient care.
- Valid Physical Therapy State License: Ensure active and valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR and BLS Certification: Hold current certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED).
