Overview:

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill is on the lookout for dedicated and dependable individuals to fill the role of Pizza Artisan. This position offers part-time to full-time opportunities to craft fresh dough, create made-from-scratch pizzas, and manage pizza ovens in a bustling and dynamic kitchen environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting and baking pizzas from scratch
  • Ensuring that only top-quality products are served to patrons
  • Loading and unloading pizzas into and from the oven as required
  • Adhering to precise cutting, traying/boxing, and garnishing standards for each pizza size and style
  • Utilizing appropriate portioning tools and following recipe specifications
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow kitchen staff, servers, and management
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Demonstrating the ability to multitask and complete tasks safely and efficiently
  • Assisting with dough preparation, rolling, and other prep tasks as necessary
  • Complying with all safety and sanitation protocols as well as restaurant standards
  • Safely handling, using, and storing cleaning and sanitation chemicals

Essential Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ability to lead and follow directions
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Familiarity with restaurant kitchen operations
  • Team-oriented mindset
