Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Receive and record new inventory, inspect and store it according to company policy, and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Stock Replenishment: Replenish stock and inventory as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Warehouse Organization: Ensure that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse, and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Inventory Transfers: Transfer inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Schedule materials being transferred to and from the warehouse, and coordinate the transfer of inventory between departments.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Resolve routine equipment issues and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices, and provide guidance and feedback to team members.
  • Financial Management: Monitor expenditures and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure that the warehouse is operating within budget.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Education: 3-5 years of related experience in distribution or manufacturing, preferably with a solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees in a professional manner, including under stressful situations.
  • Technical Skills: Accurate data entry and reporting system skills, with the ability to problem solve and organize a large volume of information.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proven ability to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders.
