Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans for students with occupational therapy needs
  • Implement therapy programs to promote independence, self-care, and motor skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide consultative services to teachers and other professionals to support student learning
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college
  • Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) certification
  • Valid Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • Minimum of one year experience working with youth aged 3 to 21

Working Conditions

Work is performed at a regular elementary or secondary school building, with occasional travel to various locations. Exposure to normal amounts of dust and fumes from office machines and cleaning chemicals, and occasional loud noises.
