About the Position

The Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville is seeking a highly skilled trauma surgeon to join our Division of General Surgery as an Assistant Professor. The ideal candidate will have completed general surgery training at an ACGME-accredited program and be board certified/eligible in surgery, with additional fellowship training in trauma surgery/critical care.

Key Qualifications
  • Proven track record of successful completion of a trauma surgery/critical care fellowship program
  • Expert skills in teaching and academic productivity in clinical areas
  • Ability to develop a practice with a specialty emphasis as needed for research purposes
