Job Summary

Sapphire at Woodway Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Health Services and Wellness Lead to lead our clinical department. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Director to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents.

The Director of Health Services and Wellness Lead will oversee and conduct assessments, develop care plans, coordinate resident care, and provide leadership and education to our dedicated Health Services team.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new procedures and protocols as needed to enhance resident care and quality of life.
  • Train, supervise, lead, and motivate the Health Services team to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care.
  • The Director of Health Services and Wellness Lead will assist clinical staff in identifying changes in resident condition and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with residents, families, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where required.
  • Knowledge of and ability to conform to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Oversee nurse delegation and ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments for residents with changes in condition or chronic skin issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Requirements
  • Active Washington RN License.
  • Proven experience in Community Based Care settings.
  • Proficiency in laws and regulations pertaining to healthcare.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and quality care to our residents.
