Job Overview:

DCS Corp is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to support a fast-paced DoD program office. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality systems that meet user requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop quality assurance related input for acquisition management documents, including acquisition plans and strategies, source selection evaluation plans, and statements of work.
  • Coordinate with product managers, users, test & evaluation command, and other Government agencies to translate operational and mission needs into practical system concepts and specifications.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and manage the quality management program on assigned programs over their acquisition life cycle.
  • Ensure design/manufacturing vendors meet their responsibilities for product quality in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Evaluate system performance, assess risk, and make recommendations with respect to product acceptability.
  • Assure compliance with contract scope, schedules, specifications, and other requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in Quality Engineering/Assurance roles or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Subject matter expert for Quality and the ability to lead Quality efforts on assigned programs with minimal oversight from the Government lead.
  • Experience in textiles, textile manufacturing, clothing/apparel, and/or load carriage equipment is desirable.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Requirements and Auditing.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, desired.
  • DOD Secret clearance required.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
