Job Summary

Berry Global is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by transporting materials and products in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure a constant supply of raw materials at the press station.
  2. Log in and out color and resin from the color room and warehouse.
  3. Identify scrap materials for grinding and regrind for reuse.
  4. Maintain a well-organized warehouse environment.
  5. Operate Power Industrial Trucks (Pallet Jacks) to transport materials.
  6. Remove finished and rejected products from the production floor.
  7. Accurately record and maintain paperwork according to established procedures.
  8. Perform other assigned duties as needed.
  9. Comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  3. Good housekeeping skills and attention to detail.
  4. Basic math skills and knowledge of product identification.
  5. Forklift experience a plus.
  6. Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically).
  7. Ability to work in a production environment with various sounds and alarms.
  8. Ability to complete routine paperwork accurately.
  9. Ability to work overtime as needed.
