The Wound Care Nurse plays a pivotal role at Salem Hospital, contributing to the provision of exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients with acute, chronic, and rehabilitative wounds.

This position reports directly to the Program Manager and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is mandatory.
  • A current American Heart Association BLS certification is also required.
  • Certification in Wound Care Nursing is highly desirable, while a minimum of one year of wound care experience is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range estimated between $85,000 and $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible for various benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
