We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor patients' hemodynamic status, respond to changes in condition, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Current and valid Nevada RN License
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- ACLS (AHA) certification required
- Previous Critical Care experience preferred
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within 90 days of hire and every two years thereafter
