Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary
RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. Your work must be completed in a safe, professional, and timely manner. As a Service Technician, you will diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the supervisor. You will document machine information and repairs completed on work order, including parts and fluids used. You will maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex problems with machinery and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a related field
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
