Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified candidate with over 4 years of experience in Business Control. The ideal candidate will have a background in client interactions and will collaborate with various Lines of Business (LOBs) to enhance and update business controls and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
This role is pivotal in supporting resilience and contingency initiatives within Global Market Operations.

It involves extensive collaboration across all Financial Lines of Business (FLU) teams, as well as with Governance, Compliance, and Operational Risk (GCOR) and Global Operations support partners.

Primary responsibilities include assisting the FLU with various deliverables related to resilience programs and monitoring counterparty credit alerts on a daily basis.


Specific Duties Include:


- Collaborating with Global Markets Operations teams to collect and analyze critical information that supports resilience and contingency program initiatives.

- Engaging in third-party exit strategies, regulatory documentation, and business continuity planning.

- Overseeing the daily counterparty credit alert process for GMO, which includes SharePoint management, reconciliations, and escalations.

- Ensuring alignment of information with other LOBs for senior Operations leadership regarding program initiatives.

- Supporting the overall management of regulatory examinations, internal audits, and risk assessments.

- Executing and managing audit deliverables while assisting in the issue management process for the Resiliency team.


Core Competencies:

The candidate should possess 3-5 years of experience in an Operations setting, with a preference for regulatory, audit, or risk/control expertise.
- Strong analytical skills (data and process) are essential, with the ability to create professional and clear presentation documents, including process maps that highlight key issues and controls, identify gaps, and provide relevant information to meet regulatory standards.
- Influencing skills are crucial for effectively engaging with LOBs to ensure accurate representations of processes and controls, with the ability to challenge constructively.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are required to manage the Resolution and Recovery process while addressing various ad-hoc requests and issues as they arise.

- Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting at all organizational levels, with advanced written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.

- A detailed understanding of operational support processes, procedures, controls, and practices is essential.

- Knowledge of operational product processes and control environments is beneficial.

- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape as it pertains to local jurisdictions, particularly in relation to Resolution and Recovery.
