Job Title: Travel Nurse ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at MedPro Staffing. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with life-threatening conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, including information about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and use medical equipment as needed to provide patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • **Active RN License:** Current and active RN license in the state where the assignment is located.
  • **Degree from accredited nursing program:** Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • **BLS & ACLS Certification:** Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • **Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting:** At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting.
