We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Sierra Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct patient care to adult patient populations, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the procedural/interventional environment.
Responsibilities- Admit, recover, and discharge patients from the Cardiovascular Lab
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with other health team members as required
- Assess procedure rooms for equipment functioning and readiness
- Assist in obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the cardiovascular lab team are met
- Monitor, position, and assist patients during procedures, as well as administer moderate sedation under the guidance of the physician
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities
- Current NV nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- ACLS certificate
- One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Current POC certification within 6 months of hire
- Willing to take call/standby in the Cardiovascular lab as needed
