Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in microbiology and a proven track record of conducting research in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in the areas of Elizabethkingia and Mycobacterium, with a focus on understanding the mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance and host-pathogen interactions.
  • Develop and implement novel experimental approaches to investigate the biology of these pathogens.
  • Collaborate with faculty members and other researchers to design and execute research projects.
  • Analyze and interpret data, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and manuscripts for publication.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Microbiology or a related field.
  • Strong background in microbiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
  • Experience with bacterial pathogens, microbial physiology, and cell culture.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
