At Techaxis, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Agriculture Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and education to underserved farmers, helping them improve their agricultural practices and increase their productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Deliver Educational Programs: Design, develop, and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars on various agricultural topics to promote best practices in agriculture, focusing on sustainable and efficient farming methods.
  • Create Educational Materials: Develop educational materials such as guides, manuals, videos, and online content to support learning and ensure content relevance, aligning with the latest agricultural research and trends.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Agricultural Research and Trends: Stay current on the latest agricultural research, technology, and trends to ensure content relevance and effectiveness, enabling you to provide expert advice to our clients.
  • Conduct Workshops and Technical Assistance: Conduct workshops and provide technical assistance on how to construct high tunnels and promote NRCS programs and services, helping farmers to improve their agricultural productivity and sustainability.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Education, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in agricultural consulting, education, or a related role is essential, with a strong track record of delivering results and improving agricultural productivity.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, technologies, and sustainability principles is required, along with excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Additional Requirements: Experience in curriculum development and training facilitation is highly desirable, as is proficiency in data analysis and the use of agricultural software and tools. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is also essential, along with strong organizational and project management skills.
