Key Responsibilities
  • Apply social work theory and methods to assess, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, conditions, and addictions.
  • Provide individual, marital, couple, family, and group therapy, as well as mediation, counseling, and supportive counseling.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, case management, and advocacy services to promote social, psychosocial, or bio-psychosocial functioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support services.
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain HIPAA standards of privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements
  • Masters' Degree in Social Work from an accredited Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) program.
  • Thorough knowledge of parenting issues, communication skills, family dynamics, and brief and focused psychotherapeutic interventions.
  • Current BLS certificate and bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
  • Experience working on a multidisciplinary team and ability to work well with all staff, community, and volunteers.
