Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information and maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide pharmacy products and services to customers in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies and procedures.
  • Process prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases, and maintain a safe and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Provide customer service by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases and maintain accurate records.
  • Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
  • Preferred qualifications include Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00-$28.00, and additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also be eligible for Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Sales Volume Category (SVC) bonuses.
