Your Role and Responsibilities
In this position, you will collaborate closely with radiologists to execute a diverse range of diagnostic CT procedures, employing sound judgment and adhering to radiation safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting high-quality CT examinations following established protocols.
  • Engaging in comprehensive patient care, including pre and post-examination support.
  • Ensuring patient safety and providing educational guidance during procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records in the Radiology Information System.
  • Generating and presenting imaging results to radiologists.
  • Offering clinical supervision and educational support to students in the clinical environment.
  • Participating in departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality.
  • Assisting with patient transport and maintaining equipment cleanliness.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A completed accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Experience in radiologic technology with a focus on CT preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
Applicants must hold:
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
  • ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • CT certification or eligibility, with the requirement to obtain certification within one year of employment.
