Position Overview:

The Facilities Operations Supervisor at Tri-State Hospital is tasked with the comprehensive management of the Facilities team, ensuring the seamless execution of daily operations across the Facilities department, including Bio Medical services, Landscaping, and all off-site facilities. This role involves the delegation of electronic work requests, diligent follow-up on these requests, and the oversight of external contractors, ensuring that all completed work meets the highest standards of quality. The supervisor will collaborate with executive leadership to design and implement strategic plans for equipment replacement, renovation of existing structures, and the construction of new facilities. Additionally, this position is responsible for the development and management of the Facilities budget, as well as maintaining thorough documentation of Life Safety inspections and medical equipment. The supervisor will also be engaged in reviewing, editing, and formulating policies concerning safety, equipment, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring all hospital systems, including BAS, HVAC, Boilers, Electrical, Bio Med, Lockdown, Surveillance, Plumbing, and overall building upkeep, are effectively managed.
  • Possess direct experience in the repair and installation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other systems typically found in healthcare and facility maintenance.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office proficiently.
  • Manage and maintain building automation systems.
  • Employ maintenance operations software to streamline workflow and departmental tasks.
  • Demonstrate exceptional supervision and training skills.
  • Apply project management expertise to oversee various initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital building maintenance is required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years of maintenance management experience in healthcare or a related field.
Certifications:
  • CHOP-B DNV Certification is required.
  • CHC / CHFM ASHE certifications are preferred.
