Phlebotomy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team at Prisma Health. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will play a critical role in the healthcare team by collecting blood samples from patients and ensuring their safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using established protocols and procedures.
- Verify patient identification and ensure accurate labeling of specimens.
- Use computer systems to access and process patient information, including ordering and tracking lab tests.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three months of training in phlebotomy or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software.
