Position Overview:
Soliant is in search of a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school environment. The SLP will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment for students facing challenges with speech, language, and communication, enabling them to reach their maximum academic and social capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations to determine the presence of speech and language impairments.
- Create and execute tailored therapy strategies for individual students.
- Deliver direct speech and language intervention to students.
- Work in partnership with educators, families, and other school staff to enhance student achievement.
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Engage in IEP meetings and assist in formulating student objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California SLP license.
- Prior experience in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
