About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Volante Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care assistance to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, such as grooming, oral hygiene, and transferring to and from activities and meals.
  • Engage in leisure activities with residents, fostering socialization and friendship among them.
  • Assist with general housekeeping duties, keeping residents' living spaces clean, safe, and tidy.
  • Collaborate with the Dining Services Department to assist with associated tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma (preferred) or equivalent certificate, with a competent history in a similar facility.
  • Valid First Aid Certifications may be required according to state regulations.
  • Possession of a Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, state certifications, and successful completion of examination and/or skills evaluation (as required).
  • Willingness to meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all necessary license(s).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members.
