Fleet Technician Job Description

Frito-Lay is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team. As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain parts and materials needed for repairs
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a heavy vehicle maintenance or repair role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
