Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehend project timelines and objectives.
  • Evaluate project needs by analyzing specifications, client requirements, and performance benchmarks.
  • Follow our established protocols for electrical controls design, PLC programming, and system commissioning.
  • Support the team by engaging in designated engineering assignments.
  • Coordinate with the project engineer and/or project manager regarding project advancements or challenges faced.
  • Validate product performance through rigorous testing.
  • Guarantee the quality of all engineering outputs.
  • Uphold a high standard of consistency and actively pursue process enhancements.
  • Stay informed about the latest technological advancements.
  • Execute any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in controls engineering.
  • Background in designing control systems, commissioning, and troubleshooting PLC industrial control systems (e.g., Rockwell, Square D, Siemens) and their associated industrial networks (e.g., ControlNet, DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet).
  • Expertise in supervising field installations, managing electrical installation subcontractors, and completing project closeouts.
