At Clean Harbors, we are dedicated to building with passion. We are currently seeking a Facility Technician for our Feed Prep Operations team.
- The Facility Technician will engage in hands-on tasks including drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading vans.
Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $26.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Work Schedule
This role involves a rotating schedule of 4-12 hour shifts from 6 AM to 5 PM, including weekends. The rotation consists of 4 days on followed by 6 days off, 4 days on followed by 2 days off, 4 days on followed by 3 days off, and 4 days on followed by 1 day off.

Key Responsibilities
The Facility Technician will:
- Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to policies and procedures.
- Perform basic operations such as drum movement, tank farm truck loading/unloading, and filter press operations while ensuring compliance with DOT segregation requirements.
- Operate a forklift as needed and conduct daily safety checks before operation.
- Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for waste tracking.
- Utilize scanning applications for dumping and pumping operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Review SOPs and complete associated quizzes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to climb on and off a forklift
- Good hand/eye coordination and physical fitness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from the ground to waist level
- A valid Driver's License
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications
- The capability to work effectively in a team environment
