About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Oceans Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse on our PRN Days team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals struggling with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume primary leadership accountability for milieu management and direct patient care activities of other nursing staff.
  • Maintain standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with facility policy and procedures, external governing bodies, and performance improvement standards.
  • Assess patients using the nursing process to formulate individualized plans of care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Provide safe delivery of medication in accordance with policies and procedures, physician orders, and current practice.
  • Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress thoroughly and accurately.
Requirements
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Valid Compact licenses are also acceptable.
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing required.
  • One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.
