Primary Care Physician

VIPcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to patients, conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing patient treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing patient treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with current medical technologies and industry standards.
- Meet all clinical obligations of the medical practice, including accreditation, CLIA compliance, and HIPAA regulations.
- Provide care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including those encountered in the older adult population.
- Accountable for patient care and outcomes, and will seek consultation from specialists when needed.
- Engage with hospitalists when patients are hospitalized.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, educate, promote health, and provide care coordination and documentation for patients with acute and complex chronic health needs.
- Maintain complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognosis.
- Provide quality evidence-based medical care in a managed care environment, focused on prevention and outcomes.
- Exhibit behavior that emphasizes compassion, quality, loyalty, and conscientiousness.
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to interpret medical tests and results.
- At least 3 years of experience in outpatient primary care.
- Prior experience working in an electronic medical records system.
- Provide 5-Star service in accordance with VIPcare's mission.
- ACLS/BLS certification required as mandated by state.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and results-oriented capabilities.
- Must be able to work professionally with confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
- Ability to shift focus, multi-task, and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
- STRONG reasoning and critical thinking required.
- MUST be results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and delivery.
- Working knowledge with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration.
- Full range of body motion, including handling and transferring patients, manual and finger dexterity; including eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling, and reaching at arm's length and overhead in a clinic for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and move patients and medical equipment as needed.
- Requires ability to lift/carry up to 15 lbs.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation.
