Role Summary

This role encompasses project oversight and technical guidance for environmental assessment and remediation initiatives. The successful candidate will also play a pivotal role in nurturing the development of technical personnel to align with client and organizational objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a pertinent technical area.
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in environmental consultancy.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications (P.G./LSP/LSRP/CIH/CSP, etc.) and capability to operate as a licensed professional in charge of the discipline.
  • Expertise in senior-level interpretative tasks, including remedial cost assessments and selection of future remedial strategies.
  • Extensive experience in designing and overseeing site investigations and executing hydrogeological interpretations.
  • Advanced project management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and data evaluation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in client and regulatory agency interactions.
  • Commitment to fostering the technical growth of junior professionals through direct mentorship.

Project Management Responsibilities

Oversee projects with a focus on scheduling and resource coordination to fulfill client and organizational requirements. Ensure adherence to individual task timelines, budget management, and client invoicing in accordance with company standards.

Data Review and Reporting

Lead quality control efforts for data collection and analysis, ensuring accurate interpretation and documentation of findings and remediation recommendations in reports for project principal review.

Proposal Development and Business Growth

Contribute to the preparation of proposals and cost estimates, while actively participating in marketing initiatives.

Mentorship and Training

Engage in the professional development of junior staff and collaborate with senior management to enhance consulting and leadership skills.

Work Environment

This position involves occasional fieldwork, primarily in an office setting. Fieldwork may include leading teams at various project sites, performing sample collection, and overseeing subcontractors. Candidates should be prepared for outdoor work in diverse terrains and conditions. Office duties are primarily sedentary, involving extensive use of computers.
