MRI Technologist

At Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals in our orthopedic imaging department.

This is a full-time opportunity to work as an MRI Technologist in our Munster, Indiana outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Interview patients to explain procedures and request removal of hazardous objects
• Provide education and training for student technologists
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
• Start I.V.'s and administer contrast media as directed by protocol
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the MRI facility
• Operate the MRI scanner, including setup, modification of scanning parameters, and troubleshooting
• Document work processes and maintain accurate records

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved program in MRI technology
• Minimum one year of experience in MRI orthopedic imaging
• Familiarity with Siemens MR scanners

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience.
