We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team at Toyota Boshoku America. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your expertise in industrial automation and factory installation to drive innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and consultation for new implementations of TBA Regional manufacturing execution systems (TBA MES). You will also organize, schedule, and plan all phases of machine building process, ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting customer requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop custom extensions that interface with TBA MES and augment production processes. This may include interfaces with PLCs, Kepware, and other PE standard systems. Additionally, you will provide front-line support for technical issues related to production engineering and maintain a positive working relationship with all TBWK internal customers.

Your expertise in mechanical systems engineering, industrial automation, and factory installation will enable you to design, assemble, and install entire machines and/or systems in a timely manner. You will also validate all assembled equipment by internal run off and plant sign off, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Greater than six years of relevant experience in industrial automation and factory installation
  • Five years of experience implementing and maintaining manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • 1-2 years Automotive Industry and UBE equipment experience preferred
  • Experience maintaining injection tooling and injection molding machines up to 2,000 tons
  • Strong attention to detail, good working knowledge of industrial technology, and thorough understanding of company product, trade terminology, maintenance and repair operations, manufacturing processes, and machine/equipment operation

A competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, is offered for this position. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
