We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team at Avamere Transitional Care at Sunnyside in Salem, OR. This is a full-time position with flexible shifts available, including day, evening, and night rotations. You will be working closely with our healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our residents.
Salary Information
The salary for this role ranges from $20.15 to $26.28 per hour, plus shift differentials of $1.00 for evening shifts and $1.50 for night shifts. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including medical coverage, voluntary dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as access to tuition assistance and mentorship opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities as a CNA will include:
• Checking residents' personal care needs and updating their care plans accordingly
• Reviewing patient care plans daily to identify any changes or updates
• Communicating resident information to charge nurses, directors of nursing, and administrators
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Participating in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a licensed certified nursing assistant in the state of Oregon. You should also possess a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
